Our Goatzz page here lists animal profiles and breeding plans.

Reach out to us here or through the Goats On The Go page (www.goatsonthegokcmo.com, or www.facebook.com/goatsonthegokcmo) for more information about brush grazing. We cover Clay, Platte, Clinton, Ray, Jackson, and Lafayette counties in Missouri and Johnson county Kansas; with extra planning can do projects in an extended area.

Our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/stormdancerfarm) will have the most up-to-date listings of animals and products for sale.

Our grazing/brush goat herd features Kiko and Boer X foundation does and is still growing. Our browsers are sturdy and parasite-resistant, independent but still willing to come say hello! They rely primarily on brush and grass or hay for feed, but still know what a bucket of grain is, to ensure adequate energy during the winter. Inquire about available breeding or meat stock.

Our dairy herd gets as much grass as we can manage, but they are supplemented with grain to keep up condition and to provide for intense energy demands of producing so much milk. Right now we have one Alpine and several Oberhaslis of every color - bay, black, and chestnut!

The cattle herd is small but we hope to finish 1-2 beef every year, either as wholes/halves/quarters or by the cut.

After a few too many predator issues, we've revamped our poultry facilities and plan on having layer and broiler chickens and turkeys available in 2020!

Feel free to contact us with questions about the animals, grazing, or farming in general! We welcome visitors.

Farm Terms & Financing

Please contact us for information on animals for sale or potentially for sale. We do our best to track those who express interest in animals, especially regarding unborn kids. We will contact interested parties in the order in which they contacted us. We will contact the next party after two days of no response.

A nonrefundable deposit will secure hold on an animal. Pickup or transport must be arranged within a reasonable timeframe, or an agreement for longer-term holding established. Failure to respond to our communications within two weeks will forfeit hold on an animal.

No animals will be released until paid in full.

We offer stud service, both "driveway" and with boarding. All does coming to the farm must be accompanied by negative CAE and CL blood tests results from within the last year.

Welcome to the farm!

SDF is a small family farm raising Oberhasli (and a few Alpine) dairy goats, commercial Boer and Kiko meat goats, pastured Highland and mixed-breed beef cattle, hopefully poultry again in 2020, and offering targeted brush grazing services.
