Herd Sire — A Kiko American Purebred and a CGI SAP Highland Genghis progeny, “Zulu” (formally Highland 143), joins us from the Highland Meadow Farm in the Green Mountains region in Vermont’s Champlain Valley. In his first year he threw 2 bucklings; from one dam, and during the second season; 5 bucklings and 2 doelings, from three dams. In season three, he sired 2 bucklings and 5 doelings. And in season four, which is still underway he has thrown 4 bucklings and 4 doelings to date. Zulu is very healthy, easy to handle, presents slow growing hooves, is highly parasite resistant and is putting weight on like a college freshman. Zulu is dual registered with both the NKR and AKGA. Looking for a solid performer, Zulu is being sold this year to reduce herd numbers, in anticipation of overwintering conditions. Would make for a great starter pair, tried and true herd sire, trio or addition to any farm. Have several options available, if looking for unrelated doelings later this season.

Details

A Purebred American Kiko and a SAP Highland Bomber doeling progeny, “Asia” weighed in at 7.41 lbs on March 11, 2016 — with a 90 day weight of 44 lbs. Asia joins us from the Stanton Brook Farm, which lies in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire.

Her Dam, SAP Highland Storm was single ranked but kidded twins in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and triplets in 2016. Asia is single ranked but freshened for her first time in March 2018, delivering twins ... a doeling and a buckling, 5.5 lbs. and 6.5 lbs. respectively.

Asia consistently displays low FAMACHA scores, has terrific mothering instincts, great udders and is highly parasite resistant.

2017 - The BioPRYN PSPB report confirmed Asia pregnant on November 21, by SAGE Ag Labs, with a Response in Test, OD of 1.4311 at +30 days.
