Asno Blanco

The Asno Blanco Ranch is located 20 miles west of College Station in east Central Texas. The Double S Kiko Ranch is adjacent and is owned by my son Dan and his wife Haylee. This is great as sharing the work makes a big difference! At The Ranch, we strive to produce hardy goats for humid Central Texas. Kiko goats thrive in the pasture in comparison with stall-kept princesses.

We raise goats in an ideal setting. Our goats all live on acreage, not feedlots. They eat a natural diet of forage and browse, supplemented by local hay and feed from Producers Coop when needed. The very best bucklings and doelings will be sold as registered breeding stock.

My herd consists mainly of Kiko and Kiko cross goats. I am a proud member of the American Kiko Goat Association, Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association, and the American Goat Federation. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the AKGA and serve as Treasurer. I believe in working WITH other breeders and not against them. To that end, I have no problem referring you to other breeders who may have animals that would better suit your purposes.

I have participated in buck forage and feed tests for the past two years, which has helped me make data-driven decisions in my herd. We also keep production data on kids and does so that we can better evaluate production factors, such as twinning, mothering, weight gain, hardiness and parasite resistance.

Farm Terms & Financing

We take cash, certified checks and PayPal for goat purchases. We handle all paperwork for breed registration and transfers. If you see a goat you like, we also take deposits. We do not sell doelings until they are at least three months old, preferably four, as we think they are better adults if left longer with their dams.

Happy Goating!

Kidding is underway!

About half of our does have kidded.... We have some dandies this year! I will be adding the does kids to her page first, then making individual pages as the kids grow.

If you have been eyeing a doe and are interested in specific pictures of her kids, let me know! We DO take deposits!

We will set prices on doelings in mid-February 2020.
